Our Policies

Shop Minimum: The shop minimum at Sickly Studios is $80. This minimum covers the time and expenses associated with setting up and cleaning the equipment and procedure area, as well as the single-use supplies necessary to ensure a safe and sanitary tattooing environment provided by an experienced professional. 

This minimum is the absolute lowest amount an artist will charge for any tattoo and applies per person per session. 

• If you are getting a tattoo of one tiny dot, the cost will still be the minimum.
• If you and a friend are getting matching tiny dot tattoos, each of you will incur the minimum charge.
• If you desire multiple tiny tattoos during the same session, you will be charged a flat rate or hourly. Therefore, it is more cost-effective to get more than one tattoo at a time.
• Please note that any tattoo taking more than 30 minutes will automatically exceed the minimum charge.

Cancellation Policy:  All appointments require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellation. If canceled with more than 48 hours' notice, your deposit may be applied to a future appointment. Deposits are non-refundable.

Reschedule Policy:  All appointments require at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule. If you provide at least 48 hours' notice, your deposit may be applied to your new appointment. However, if an appointment is rescheduled more than twice, your deposit will be forfeited.

Late Policy:  Please notify us if you are running late. If you're 30 minutes or more late without advance notice, you may forfeit your deposit, lose your appointment, and require a new deposit to reschedule.

Deposit Policy: Deposits are non-refundable and start at $50 to reserve your place on an artist's schedule. Deposits will be applied toward the final cost of your tattoo at your final session unless forfeited. 

Deposits will be forfeited in the following situations:

• No-show for an appointment
• Cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice
• Rescheduling more than twice
• Arrival more than 30 minutes late
• Arrival without proper ID
• Arrival intoxicated or otherwise unable to be tattooed
• Requesting excessive or last-minute changes to the design
• Not completing your tattoo within two years
• Choosing not to get tattooed at all

If you forfeit a deposit, you may be required to leave a new deposit before booking any future appointments. Deposits may not be transferred to another individual or applied to a different tattoo artist.
